These refs are ruining hockey for me. Sure we won but they tried their damndast to make us lose. Getting sick of playing against 2 teams every game. Betting has ruined football and basketball already. Apparently hockey is next.

I like what St Ivany's been doing but he should be a healthy scratch for one game after that stupid penalty. Almost cost the team the game and for literally no reason. But the boys are absolutely buzzing and you love to see it

DK your ability to turn a phrase is usually impeccable. But how can you have this pitch buzz by you every day? You know what phrase perfectly describes Lizotte and the way this team should play? Buzzing… like bees around a hive!! I think of that phrase every time I watch Blake play. Great game last night, the team is hopefully getting healthy at the right time.

Yes DK, we need to tank. We need high end talent more than a token playoff berth. They are amassing solid talent, but to get back to true contention, they still need franchise level talent.

Somewhat of a different style of player, but the energy Lizotte brings night in and night out is very reminiscent of Branon Tanev. Plays way bigger than he is and just a tenacious, unrelenting forechecking nightmare.
The way the Pens have been run the last few seasons, Lizzotte may go on the block for being a good player. Pens are addicted to shedding players who work hard.

Pens were called for looking sideways at someone, and the redwings got away with murder. Otherwise this game is over in regulation. Piss poor officiating.
