  1. Something needs to be done with this Oilers team. It's getting embarrassing (again) with all this giveaways. We need a coaching change. Knobby ain't doing the job.

  2. haha i've been watching too many condensed NHL games from these videos that I know a goal is coming when you hear the audio drop in quality because they want to mute out the music from the arena

  3. Not sure what it's going to take for the Oilers to understand just how important defensive play/awareness is. Obviously Bouchard will never know how to play defensive hockey. Probably the softest hockey player in the NHL. Though they really have to abandon this idea that Draisaitl swaps out defensive responsibility as a centre with his wingers. Mainly because he also doesn't understand that it means he has to defend above the hash marks thereafter and rotate, but also because it makes everyone so confused when the cycle happens. His lazy efforts for years now have amounted to no desire to play any role in the defensive end and nights like tonight really expose just how atrocious he is in that zone. Won't take the man, won't even look at anyone he's leaving open. Just waiting for breakout passes. Man….he's a centre. Should be the most active in the D zone. But his whole game is based on everyone else doing the heavy lifting so all he does is glide everywhere and take zero responsibility for being horrific in the D zone. Hoping he can finally commit to at least trying to be in the right spots on D. Being that lazy will end in another wasted McD season of no titles.

  4. Now I see how McDavid scores so much. He plays at center ice when his team is in the defensive zone.
