Lehtonen is more than good enough to bounce back. We should definitely be a playoff team. Not a bad defense, good goaltending tandem, and the best offense in the West, we are a good team.
I think they made the wrong moves this offseason, still big moves don't get me wrong but I feel they weakened they D which was their biggest problem and Lehtonen and Niemi struggle with no help. Goaltending wasn't your biggest problem, it was the defenseman in front of your G.
2 number one goalies is never a good idea, it failed in vancouver and it failed in toronto. Seems like the goalies are more afraid of loosing rather than eager to win
I believe in Jim Nill and his staff to make best changes for the DallasStars, I questions at 1st, sad to lose Garbutt, Jim knows better. Now if I could just get him to send me say season tickets. I would be happy happy happy. I know dream on. My husband and I can only afford one game each year, I have had 4 back ops, hip replacement, appendix ruptured, not at once, but he would let me out in front and he would park come and get me, and bless his heart would try for best seats (expensive ) so walking wasn't so much, pretty much why one game. But others are in same situation too. But Jim keep the players, Ruff to keep the guys to play there best. My quote is "Any Team Can Be Beaten At Any Given Time", but we want WINS. Thanks
I don't know if they can make the playoffs. The central is just too tough. Chicago is a powerhouse. St. Louis has struggled in the postseason but is still a solid regular season team. Minnesota, Nashville, and Winnipeg can only get better imo. Colorado could have a bounce back season.
If the defense plays above expectation, this is a legitimate Stanley Cup contender. If the defense is bad; which is possible, this team will be about .500 again and a low seeded playoff team or miss it all together.

Am I the only one who hates the goalies? Nemo has really gone down lately, and Let-a-ton-in (Lehtonen) had a bad season last year.
