To be fair, Landy had a few called back early on. Had some tough breaks.
No team is perfect… and our bottom 2 lines are average. But we might have the best top 2 lines. And we are the best team now for sure… this is close to pinnacle hockey. Once in a generation stuff
Worth noting that Bednar coached this team through literally every imaginable scenario, from being a rebuilding roster with young divas, to battling back after tough injuries, to having nearly 50 different skaters and goaltenders on the roster over the course of a season, and he hasn't even been a finalist for the Best Head Coach trophy.
The Avs are 'jockeying' for position with the stars. Don't give Dallas false hope.
