I've always been a Mo supporter..I thought he should've been captain when JT got it, but I've completely lost all faith in him the last couple years..ya he puts up points..but he can't defend and his foot speed has gone down the toilet.. pretty well every goal that gets scored against the Leafs, he's on the ice..it's totally un playable. I realize he's been the teams number one defencman for years now, when he's not a top pairing d man to start with he's a good 4-5 guy, but what do you do when you have no one else? Tanev, McCabe keep getting hurt..but why don't they give OEL the 27 minutes and top PP minutes? He's had a hell of a season…. something has to give here, they need to move on from Mo, but of course he has a NMC with 5 years left at 7.5 per….how you gonna trade the guy..unless you pull a NYR and threaten to send him to the marlies maybe that's the only way..and then your not gonna get overwhelmed with an offer..maybe even salary retention..not looking good..They haven't had that true number 1 dman since maybe Kaberle and idk if I would even consider him a true number 1 elite dman 🤷🤦

They guys he has had as d partners have more minor league games played than NHL. Played good with Carlo and EOL but let's stick Myers with him or some other bum and it's Morgan's fault. SMH grow a brain.
