It's interesting. Indeed Gibson won this for the Wings. But thinking back on the first 10-15 games of this season, it seems that Detroit was on the losing end of amazing goaltending (and close scoring games) on behalf of the opponents. We have soft and hard G's in Sweden, and in his name, both are soft and turns into how a Y would sound for you 'Muricans. Can't think of a better comparison than how the Y sounds in "Yeah". Wings finally played a team that has more giveaways than them. That's why they won. They still got problems.
I'm glad we finally got the shorty. Even if it was from the biggest anchor on this team. That said, we have a huge problem when playing with the lead. We tend to sit back in our zone, which we can't afford to do bc our D core is still awful. One 60 minute game is all I ask for. Just one…
