Do the Bruins need help on the backend?
Lohrei and Peeke are …… so bad together. The only way Lohrei plays better is if you put him with a good defensive partner …. and Peeke has not been that.

What are your thoughts on if he gets healthy trading Hampus? Will he truly get back to his best? I love him, but he just doesn’t seem the same and age wise perhaps him and possibly Zacha are the last old core pieces we can use to flip and rebuild for the rest of Pasta,Mac,and Swayman’s prime. Awesome collab btw.

I hate to disagree with low qual. But i think the B's missing the playoffs could be very good for some guys health. Especially Pasta has played so much hockey in the past 2-3 years

The Lysell situation certainly feels a lot like how Bruins handled Seguin and Hamilton. But the main issue I see, is that Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand have broken the mindset of the team. They want everyone to play exactly like them, but overlooking what else the players' talents are. A situation of trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

i was watching the dallas v montreal game the other day and two montreal players crashed into each other and a 2 minute tripping penalty was assigned to hampus lindholm.

Regarding the comment about the Toronto pick going to the Bruins, do you see any value in pulling something like what Canadiens did to get Lafleur back in the day? In this case, because the Toronto pick is top 5 protected, wouldn't it be better long term to try to at least drop below the Leafs and set themselves up for decent lottery chances while pushing up other teams?

As for Hampus, I am afraid he might be at his limit. He might be at that point in career, when, injuries keep adding up.

Now, Aspirov, Lohrei are works in progress. I am NOT ready to move on from either. Willing to give them more development time. At least Lohrei has a bit of speed, and moves the puck forward. He's looking for that next move. Sometimes it costs him, since he thinks offense, first. Still, willing to put time into Lohrei.
If ANYONE offers so much as a practice bag of pucks, MOVE ON from Peeke. Period. We know who he is, and we simply cannot afford to keep him around.
I'd like to see DePietro given a chance, up here, some more. I think Sway and DePietro could be a nice one two.
Both Lindholm (-7) and McAvoy (-6) should be the B's top two D-men .. but aren't playing nearly to top form. Still, Lindholm is a big loss on a lousy D-Corps.
The bruins need to dump some of their ridiculous players with the terrible contracts if they could find anyone foolish to take them, they won’t get better until they do.

The only guaranteed keeps are Pasta, McAvoy, Swayman, Minten, Zadorov and Geekie from the current roster. What about the rest? Trade them.

OK yeah, he is hurt a lot. Carlo was also hurt a lot, a big guy who was hurt often. His last season with the Bs he seemed to overcome that with conditioning or maybe just smarter play but then he wasn't a great asset so he was moved…and look now: he's hurt. OK it happens to players yes, but how much is too much? We need skates on the ice. I like Lindholm but that's not what decides a place on the roster. I'm sure this question of Hampus Lindholm is a subject in the B's front office.

I'm curious why it was Lohrei who was playing on the off side before Aspirot was back? It seems like he's been a fair bit better since he's switched back at least. Minten has looked amazing and it feels like there's not a spot you could slot him in where he wouldn't be successful.
