  1. They do have a serious problem call We don’t give a shit. What the hell is Fitzgerald and Keefe doing. Trade some people at least to shake things up. Another wasted season&. Thanks Dickheads!

  2. It’s one thing to be bad, it’s another to be locked into this for the next half decade because all our contracts are immovable. There’s nothing that can be done, we’re stuck with this awful group

  3. Keefe should be the last person to blame. We constantly have switched coaches with the same core. We must trade the core it’s enough Nick, Bratt, Timo LEAVE! We can’t defend, get rid of everyone other than Jack and Pesce truthfully. Everyone else is not worthy of our crest! We boo Luke WARRANTED horrible way to lose vs the canes and this, THIS is our response ?! 9-0?!!!! Where’s our captain, no one wants to play for this captain or coach or franchise !! Enough is enough

  4. I’ve said from the beginning- injuries, are not what’s wrong with this team. Yes, they had a lot and yes, they played a part but there are far deeper issues at play here, than injuries. We can argue about it, but Fitzgerald has created a HUGE culture problem here, and arguably, he was never qualified to hold the GM position. He was handed a dream, in high draft picks, and elite talent. All young, all hungry but without the kind of leadership, that winning cultures MUST have. The clues, the problems, are right here: Fitzgerald, trying to be one of the guys, and not a General Manager. He admitted it himself, when he said that the “country club” that he allowed to fester for years. He also stated, that “these guys are allergic, to the gym.” It all fits. That “do whatever you want” attitude, and culture, just doesn’t go away. You suddenly don’t start pounding your chest, telling everyone that your the boss. Add to this, the absolutely ridiculous things he’d say in the off-season. Things like, “I don’t know what secondary scoring is.” Adding, “I asked everyone, I asked my wife’s boyfriend!” comments like that, tell you that this isn’t a serious guy. It’s ok to have a sense of humor, but not at that time. The “we came in second” comment, was also ridiculous. He also did ridiculous things, like handcuffing the team, and freezing out our #2 pick, in Simon Nemec, by handing Kovacevic, a 5-year deal. It seemed to make at least a LITTLE bit of sense, but let’s face it: Kovo, was playing above his head, and had been a mediocre D for his entire career. You have a 20 year-old kid, in the pipeline, already complaining about not playing, and you hand another player, 5 years? Kovoceviec, was a placeholder, who brought some needed toughness, but in NO WAY was he the preferred option to Nemec. The kid had, by all accounts, a great rookie campaign. He was set back with INJURY. Make it make sense. Now, the goalie problem. Once again, Dotzgerald, was under NO PRESSURE WHATSOEVER, to sign Markstrom to an extension. Markstrom publicly stated, that he wanted to remain in NJ. A competent GM, would wait 25-30 games, to see what we have, before offering an extension. I was stunned with the early extension, as we ARE dealing with a 36 year-old goaltender. Obviously, regressing, SHOULD be carefully considered, before you extend him, to CLOSE TO 40 YEARS-OLD. Unfortunately, I think that this season, is already done, and we’re missing the playoffs again. They’re playing with no fire, no urgency, NO HEART and NO PASSION. Nico’s post-game interviews, now sound like a broken record. No matter what he says, the team doesn’t respond. This requires a FULL housecleaning. No holdovers, AT ALL. Blow the core up and liste; to offers on EVERYONE. Timo, for example, has to be on a team, where he’s THE GUY. He can’t play second fiddle to anyone, and it really showed itself in his time here. If all is functioning properly in NJ, we’ll wake up to TF being relieved of his duties. Somehow, I doubt that.

  5. Dont sign grits this fast it’s the same mistake we did throwing contracts out like we have with previous players that has led us to these horrible contracts and NTC NMC just cause you see some flash of plays

  6. It's hard to believe this is the same team that was running away with the division to this? They were one of the only few teams that gave the Avs a loss.

  7. It was nice and almost enjoyable to be a devils fan it’s been a hell of run but im rinsing looooool my hands with this team im moving on from this squad to a semi wining one
