Defence wins championships in football and baseball,where its turn based, football if you can shut them down and give your team a chance , baseball the pitcher is part of your defense, in hockey and soccer OFFENSE wins championships where there are no turns ,the BEST defense is when your on offense away from your own net ! And players say they don’t get nearly as tired in the O zone !
We do need Kopi, but we also need to cut the leashes on Byfield and Turcotte and see where they’d go. Cycling Kopi down to 2c/3c for a few games in a row every few games can possibly spark some confidence in the kids. They’re gonna need to learn to be leaders to take over for Kopi (although Kempe probably gonna get the C) and I think they just need to get thrown to the wolves and be seriously tested

The Kings were flying last game without Kopi, it was very noticeable. But you have to ride to the end with a player that means as much to the franchise as him. He always makes the right decision.

You know it seems to me that when the Kings have a good game that they seem to be faster quicker with everything and when they're not having a good game they look slower can't figure out what's going on a lot you know what I mean it's like they don't have the energy
