  1. The jets suck , just like the Chipper. The Winnipeg Jets… it's always something. Never any accountability with ownership/management all the way down to the players. True North is a joke. Give them more of your money. Millions and they look like they couldn't care any less. Why TF do any of you?

  2. The same organization that made Blake the POS wheeler a captain. I'm surprised he fit in the building with his head ffs.

  3. Stop whining. Oilers back when they tanked 4 STRAIGHT SEASONS. There was no problem then. Why are we complaining…there is a silver lining here. FINALLY WE WILL GET A TOP 3 SRAFT PICK. SO SHUT IT DOWN

  4. The Canucks last month (12 December Central Time), knowing there had been an unlikelihood they would this season C playoff action, traded defenceman Quinn Hughes to the MN Wild in exchange for:
    – centre Marco Rossi
    – winger Liam Öhgren
    – dman Zeev Buium
    – a 2026 first-round draft pick

On the date of the above trade, the Canucks had, in regular-season play from October, put up an 11–17–3–0 win-regulation loss-OT loss-shootout loss record, bad enough for just 25 standings points over 31 relevant games. after games that had wrapped up by this a.m. CT, the Canucks had found themselves with 37 standings points over 42 games (16–21–4–1) and had thus earned 12 over the 11 games (5–4–1–1) that had transpired since the QH trade.

As of the date of the QH trade, the Jets had to put up a record of 14–15–0–1, bad enough for 29 standings points over 30 games. Since the same trade, the Jets have played 11 games, over which time span they have put up a horrific 1–6–4–0 record and thus earned just eight standings points over the same time span. At 10 standings points out of a playoff spot, this season for the Jets, on playoff qualification, is likely a write-off.

  5. So true. Imagine we get McKenna and a guy to help him next year and trade Morrissey at the deadline for a haul. You might be 2009 Chicago Blackhawks (remember that version of Toews?) by 2030. If we had a guy like Celebrini instead of Perfetti – how many extra tickets every night for that? the difference between a 1st and 10th round pick is massive and Winnipeg fans are educated fan base. They WILL show up for a team with a plan instead of a wildcard that exits in 5 games.
