Trocheck is 3rd in faceoff and miller is 7th, they also play 200ft…. they need to face Mack, Crosby, Mcdavid … as a canadian, it makes sense. The hate for vincet is wild….. miller is a 50/50 for me…..maybe more for motivation.

Why is it everyone keeps saying "Binnington" when the real difference in those big games is that when Canada's best players (Crosby, McDavid) get the puck on their stick with the game on the line, they put it away. When the American best guy is in that situation, they flub it. Anyone think that if it was McDavid trying to score on Binnington in the same situation, he wouldn't have scored? Canada and the US, from players 6-25, maybe about even, but players 1-5 there's no comparison. Canada's best players are just way better and that's why they always win and why they'll win again this year.

Debrincat deserved a look, he's been money this year for the Wings. Always seems to score when they need it most. Its pretty clear they over thought this roster. IHF is a softer game, dont understand the need for a "heavy game" this isnt 4 nations.

Nobody said the US roster was bad. Fox makes this roster deeper from nearly every metric.
