1. Im so impressed with how the Devils can keep finding a new low. The fanbase could see the problem two months ago.

Also media availability is a stretch when its reporters that work FOR the organization asking soft and safe questions.

I can’t stand the front office or ownership for dragging this franchise into the dirt.

Its a millionaire country club for grown up children

  2. Every time the Devils seem to be about to make the next step up, Jack Hughes gets hurt. That repeated itself this year. Now, players get injured and teams have to get through it. But the Devils have never been able to do that. When they face adversity, they fall apart. I'm primarily a Flames fan so saw enough of Dougie Hamilton that I thought that signing was a mistake from the start. He's now played for four different teams. Each team was giddy when they acquired him, but none were sorry when he left.

  3. Rupp, if you were upset about the booing of Luke you better prepare, that's going to seem tame compared to the next game in the Rock. Fans have every right, this team is absolutely broken and pathetic. No fight, no emotion, nothing. My guess is that Fitz throws Keefe under the bus and Keefe gets fired while Fitz (who has completely destroyed and pigeonholed this team), keeps his job. Until Fitz is gone the Devils will NEVER be a contender. We all know the problem and its ownership/President/GM. Shit flows downhill.

  4. As a devils fan…yes this ownership group blows…maybe don’t make Fitz the GM and president. They don’t pay attention to this team whatsoever. But besides that, idk how you say Keefe isn’t a problem? His teams accomplished nothing in Toronto and have been mid with the devils. I would much rather have deboer, he is a coach that knows how to get the most out of his teams. I would rather have torts ffs. If there is no one on the team with some fire then the coach needs to be the one to ignite it. Can’t have a non emotional team and a non emotional coach…I mean who keeps marching Marky out there? He had two good games and we’re gonna act like the team has any confidence behind them? Nico isn’t captain material imo, if he is this is his time to show it. It’s just unreal what a dumpster fire this is….oh and Fitz…he is the one that handed out all those NTC…he is the reason they are handcuffed, the entire situation falls on him and frankly he should be gone before anyone else but we know that won’t happen. DUMPSTER FIRE

  5. Colby seems like one of the few podcasters who actually gets and accepts salaries are increasing.

Kyle Connor just signed for 12M. Zegras is getting 10. We can’t keep comparing salaries from two years ago. Anything signed before the cap projections last year is no longer applicable.

  6. Giant devils fan, I have no opinion on the owners. I just assume the team is really run by GM, coaches, and staff. If Fitzy still has a job by tomorrow, I may start directing my attention towards ownership. It won’t solve the immediate problem, but it will at least demonstrate some level of responsibility for handcuffing us.

  7. Ehlers just got 8.5 — there’s no way Zegras, who’s 4 years younger, already had a 60+ point season before this, and is on pace to finish over a point per game, is getting anywhere near that low. I could see a 9+ AAV on a short deal, or a 10m AAV on a longer deal

  8. Not sure what Colby is talking about regarding Flyers' ownership (42 min mark). Agreed regarding the previous regime but – Dan Hilferty CEO of Comcast Spectacor – is about as accessible a senior exec as I can remember

  9. 100% absent ownership re NJD. Hated that the group bought the team. This was destined to happen. If the 76'ers were the feather in their cap for a time based on revenue, look no further than that situation to find out all you need to know about their ownership style and the present situation the NJD are in.

  10. So no mention of how horrible Luke has been and that he or nobody gets benched or scratched, no accountability

  11. Ryan Novozinski hates Fitzgerald so bad & I hate Fitz too but Ryan Novo has not spoke about being a rat calling Bill Daley saying Kovacevic looked healthy. He asked if NJ was cap circumventing like WHAT!

A beat writer did tried to have the team he writes for get penalized to lose draft picks when they are at this low.

Then, did a youtube live asking Devil fans for tips a few days after. He is a 🤬ing fake rat bum loser who should speak for his actions.

Bill Daley even acted like he overstepped saying how he is aware of NJs players health.

  12. NJ players 9-0 loss = silent protest to ownership they are very unhappy with the coach – Keefe must go; yep, players didn’t like Keefe in Toronto either – rot is deep with this coach
