Panarin is 34 so I don't know. But then Tuch is old too and not worth no 11 Mil. On the other hand we have Prokhor Poltapov going the same route that Panarin did to make it in the NHL. So maybe if we do acquire him he can help Prokhor transition or at the very least talk good about coming to Buffalo.
Don’t want Panarin and I don’t want to trade Tuch. Panarin also wouldn’t wave his nmc to come here anyway. He dosnt like small cities, hence why he left Columbus for New York.

When you look at the production of guys like Ostlund and Doan, even Kulich before he got hurt, I think it’s a better place to be in to have young players like that than part ways with one for a 34-YO rental. Not saying they’d move one of those guys, but I believe Helenius will be the next guy to make an impressive leap. I think Quinn is probably a goner. And we have a lot of depth at RHD now among our prospects. Now that you have Mrtka, is Kleber a guy you move? When their D is healthy, maybe Power becomes a trade piece.
Sign Tuch, trade Power for Panarin. And I don't care if he's a rental. Use the Power $ to extend Byrum.

You have alot of effed up idea. Who needs an overaged panarin stop the stupid stuff. 1st order of business should be signing Tuch no excuses .
The talk from joe is always about getting rid of Tuch. I think he's an integral piece of the team and one of the biggest reasons they're playing consistently well. If they made a trade for a player like Panarin, find a way to do it while KEEPING 89. That's how you improve the team. You don't get rid of your best players for other good players, that creates stagnation.
You would need to get a 3rd team involved to hold cap. Jarmo has done 3 team trades in the past
Honestly the Sabres need to add muscle to ensure there are less injuries or have players who can step up after big hits or fight for there teammates like how back in 07 players like Stafford, Kaleta, Mair or Peters stood up for Drury after the Neil's dirty hit. We need some grit that Lindy can send out to protect our star players or our smaller players like Benson. I wouldn't mind seeing Jarmo trading for the Xhekaj brothers as Arber and Florian would both fire up the crowd and protect there teammates as they would likely work better under the Lindy Ruff style rather then the Martin St Louis style. Also, Jarmo wouldn't have to give to much up in the process. Granted a player like Panarin would be great however the team need to get a bit stronger especially in the playoff as its not always skill that's going to produce playoff success.

I can’t believe it’s taking this long to sign Tuch. All these years in Buffalo building towards being a competitive team that might make the playoffs and then poof probably gone. I just wish the two sides can come up with a deal that’s fair for both parties before it’s too late because theirs not much time left until you need to make a decision.

Honestly though, I’d offer up Greenway and either UPL or Ellis. Quick is close to hanging them up hand they’re going to need a #2 to play behind Shesterkin really soon. Which would mean a couple of draft picks coming back our way if it’s Greenway and a Goalie.
Who knows, they may be playing Ellis tonight to hopefully showcase him in person because there’s already something in the works.

I don't know Joe…. Comparing Tuch to Panarin is a tough one. Tuch is younger, bigger, stronger and has MORE VALUE imho. Helenius is a strong NO for me.
