Woll was unbelievable tonight. Reminds me of when Balfour or Potvin etc. would steal a win for the Leafs after stopping all but one of 35 shots on goal. Avalanche did not take the night off, either.
Big leaf fan here. We pulled off the win. But I saw a lot of lucky bounces go our way tonight. Yes, we played better and harder, but without those lucky bounces, the outcome would've been much different. A playoff series against a team like this is unlikely to have as many lucky bounces go our way. Still lots of work to be done. GLG

They, as a group, tried to get the coach canned, but it didn't work, so now they have no choice but to put the hammer down and make the playoffs. This was there all season long and just didn't play to their level.
