That high stick call on Knies was a bs call. Stick never touched the Winnipeg player. High sticking calls should be reviewable
Winnipeg played desperate tonight, that was entertaining. Hellebuyck is getting back some form. I liked the Leafs tonight overall. Hildeby was too loose on rebounds. Domi (for a change) didn't hurt them defensively and was a net positive! I like Tavares and Robertson together, Robertson gets slapped around a lot but his assist tonight was high-skill. Ekman-Larsson was my first star. Five points on that road trip, I'll take it. As always the call and edit is top drawer thanks.

This was a tough road trip, and at the end of the day, all i wanted was 5 out of 8 points to stay in the same spot in the standings, and they did that. Now it's time to climb again – they play really well at home, even though the schedule looks bad.

You know hindsight is 20/20 but if Hallybuck did a double pad stack like Fuhr or Ranford, he would have made that save. As someone who says he is a student of the game, he should have played that smarter on Domi who isn't a deeker at least not on that play. I can see he was anticipating a poke check but realize it was a shot and he just didn't have enough momentum.
