Both teams wanted this win but the Wings were absolutely desperate after opening night against the Habs. Gibson totally has more than redeemed his slow start to the season. Todd is very good and motivating this team. I'm sure he rubbed salt in the wound about opening night and told them to show the other team how it feels on the own barn.

Les Habs n'ont pas mal joué. Ils n'ont pas été chanceux sur plusieurs lancers au but…..et le premier but des Red Wings était le résultat d'une erreur stupide de Fowler. Qui n'a pas mal joué lui non plus. Quelques beaux arrêts. Mais Montembault avait fait la même erreur quelques jours plus tot…..C'est la vie….
