I've watched about 95% of the Pens' games over the last 20 yrs. They're playing at such a higher level across the board than the last few years, it's not even close.
At 7:17… if you play it at slo-mo, you can see the moment Geno sees Sid on the far side, makes a perfect pass, knowing Sid can rifle the wrist shot. The amount of chemistry and skill to make that play, for instance, is phenomenal. The tons of subtle plays that happen every period are what make being a fan, worth it

As a Flyer fan: A lot work is to do! Compared to last games: Again early goal against! Again very bad Penaltykilling (3/4) and Powerplay (0/4). We have a lot to impove on special teams. Better defend and go for more goals Flyers!

I'm glad the Pens were able to go out in the trade market and get an all-star goalie and a 50-goal scorer in Skinner and Chinakhov. Skinner has been the best goalie in the league since the Pens got him, and Chinakhov is on pace for 50. Dubas is a genius. I still don't understand who is playing actual defense for the Pens, but it seems to be working.

I’ve been WAITING for this Flyers epic collapse and I believe it’s finally here. Pathetic.
Malkin has 3 Stanley Cups, 2 Art Ross', a Hart, a Lindsay, and a Conne Smythe while still carrying a better than 100 games above a point per game average but he is not one of the 100 greatest players of all time. You're probably thinking well he did some of that after the list came out in 2017. Nope he had all of these awards even though he was a little more than a decade into his career. He was kept off the list because Pittsburgh would've had as many players on the list as Montreal and Toronto. Because some of Montreal's players on there were not nearly as good as Malkin. It's not even close. Malkin has 2 Art Ross'. 99.9% of players don't even get close to 1. But several of Montreal's players on that list didn't have hardly any awards. Yet Malkin has 2 scoring titles and a playoff MVP and dominated a 3 year stretch in the NHL like very few players have ever managed. He was at one point the best player in the world arguably for about 3 years. That is so rare that you just can't leave him off the list unless you've got other motivation for making the list in the first place. When it came out Pittsburgh was in the middle of the back to back Stanley cups and close to a third. How is Evgeni Malkin not on that list? I think we have a new Rodney Dangerfield of hockey. Ronny Francis has to give it up. He even made the list. That's why he's giving it up now. Malkin's receiving the least amount of respect out of anybody in hockey and the truth is that if his English was better he would be a huge superstar. Like he isn't already. He gets no respect I tell ya.
