Interesting Makar continues to get the call up. I don’t feel like he’s shown too much more than some of the more experienced AHL guys. Hopefully he proves me wrong tn.
EDIT: I will say he has steadily improved in his callups. I thought his last game up was his best.

I want to state for the record that I was wrong about Taylor. When he was drafted, I thought based on what numbers I saw, not just points, that he was just another « brodeur drafts his son in the 7th round to make sure he’s drafted » move and that he’d never see more than a handful of NHL minutes. I still don’t think he’s gonna amount to an every day ideal NHL player but I was wrong about the upside.

Compared to many of the other rotating bottom six guys they’ve been calling up lately, I thought Barre-Boulet actually contributed positively more than most. He should get another shot

Every time I hear or read Jack Achan, I get the opening of Chaka Khan’s I Feel For You stuck in my head, but I substitute the lyrics with “Jack Achan.”

Why do we keep calling up different forwards every time we need a spot filled? Keep the competition up? Cap shenanigans?
I was pretty impressed with Barre Boulet the other night wouldn’t mind seeing him get more games. Makar an Chaka khan have been solid too
