Ace, you the man! Had to hit the rack as soon as the buzzer sounded. It's one game but everyone was on it tonight! It wasn't pretty but an all out all in concerted effort. Allen was sensational. Players throwing bodies in front of pucks, forechecking, pinching and hounding the puck. Holy crap, what am I watching here? We've got a lot of folks who clearly don't watch players carefully enough and make up their mind on a player and single them out for the entire season. Timo was great last night! Eddie O said Timo is playing very well defensively good stick, disrupting plays and a force on offense with some great passes. To your point: The other guys get a pass (no pun). One game but that IMO was the best game they've played defensively all season. Short crisp passes out of the zone. To steal PK's line: They were connected all night! Sure they should have potted 4 but the fact is we got the W. I was impressed with the effort by all.
This is a pipe dream but Fitz should make a call to Ottawa and try to pull off a trade for Brady. He has nothing to lose and it's worth a shot to make a trade for Brady.

Man, they've both had some insanely ugly games this season, but I still firmly believe Jake & Marky are solid competitors and most times they're the only consistency in this consistently inconsistent team. Glasser, Kovy, Pesce too. Everybody needs to get their heads straight like these guys.
LOVED seeing Kovy slam McDavid and take down Podkolzin. Bitch move going after Kovi, it was a clean hit. McDavid stepped to Kovi and got smacked down. We need 100% more of that energy the rest of the season.

had high energy the whole game for a b2b. Why don’t we always play like this!? Pk is doing good but the power play looks more like passing practice. Allen was super sharp hope that both goalies stay this way!we also need to learn to not get scored on right after scoring.
Dare we have hope again for this season? That third line was excellent once again. Completely agree with Glass being the unsung hero of this season. He has one more year after this one, but from what we've seen and how tough the center market has been, I hope Fitz/replacement GM extends him July 1st for an extra couple of years. It seems like he's a late bloomer who is finally finding his way in this league.
