If Kadris deal had one year left after this one? Go nuts. But eating 3 years of this deal is a non-starter IMO, nor do I think Calgary will want to do 50% retention for that long.

3C is only part of the picture, I think. If one of the top 6 goes down with injury in the playoffs (bound to happen), Naz would fill that line out. And he’s undeniably clutch. Def interesting!
This isn’t going to happen, but if it did….id be cheering for St Louis to earn the 8 seed so Naz can finish Binnington for good with a soul crushing hatty.

Avs don’t need Kadri. We need a #5 D-man. If one of our D go out, we got a huge weakness. We need someone to be able to rotate in if needed in playoffs if someone is struggling or injured.
