We happened to be passing through Ottawa, saw that the tickets were really cheap, and decided to go to the arena to cheer for the Canes. Offensively, the Canes didn’t quite look like themselves, but their defense was solid, and the goalie was basically a wall.
Not sure if the extreme cold had anything to do with it.a lot of empty seats, and several people in front of us left after the first period. By about 8 minutes before the end, maybe 30% of the crowd had already started leaving. The Sens didn’t actually play that badly overall, but the fans didn’t seem very supportive.
