From the 9:49–9:52 mark I meant to say that Chris Kreider wasn’t healthy last year. Also, I believe the team should sit J.T. the rest of the season & let him heal.
Drury should be fired and made to beg on the streets of his former adoring city.
When players on a hockey team use the word fragile to explain the current state of there team that’s bad. Really bad. As Sullivan talks and tells players you try hard believe in system good things will happen. If players buy into that and then it doesn’t happen you become fragile. Best thing to happen to this team is the Olympic break. Don’t really know what else to say. Team in general isn’t good, but this bad of play shouldn’t be happening.
This is what happens when you trade half your team… Then put in some what average players..

What dose it tell you when every Ranger fan in MSG is chanting at the top of there lungs Fire Drury ! I'm a NYR fan since 1976 and I've never seen anything this bad. I don't wanna see Drury make another bad player move. I don't think coach Mike Sullivan is at fault and they should keep him. Keep this Ranger team intact .Upper management James Dolan needs to Fire Drury and clean house. 🏒
When the reward for being great is to get bombarded with unchecked pucks and an almost complete lack of protection? I'm surprised Shets and Quick haven't called it quits. No one is playing hard but the goalies and sometimes Zibanejad or one of their try-hard but not great yet prospects like Laba. Most coaches want players to run off the ice onto the bench rather than limply glide. Most coaches want the D to sprint if they're behind a play rather than accept defeat and recourse for the rebound or hook/trip and pray for a no-call. Most coaches bench players that just stand around and wait for things to happen (at least in the O-zone, sometimes waiting is needed in the D). Most coaches bench players that panic and abandon the system. Most coaches demote those that blindly shoot the goalie square in the chest/no save needed, miss, or give the puck away more often than not. Either Sullivan is completely blind or Drury castrated him. Either way, the team is clearly disrespecting the game as a whole. I think Sully needs to take a page out of Tortorella's book (not that he was a saint… You need SOME honey with the vinegar…) and bench some overpaid underperformers. Hell, playing half the Wolf Pack couldn't hurt at this point.
Giants & Jets don’t play anywhere near 30% of the Rangers schedule. What the hell does that have to do with anything?

😂😂😂 you’re honestly surprised or just coming to grips with the fact that Drury is a horror show and the player mix is bad? Son, if you take anything from this, here’s a good lesson. See the world as it is, not as you wish it were. They ere abysmal last year. They did NOTHING to improve in the off-season. They hired a coach who, sorry, is not a great coach. That, and only that, is what he proved in Pitt over his final 8 seasons. I can only imagine how poorly USA. Will do with him behind the bench in the Olympics.

i disagree with the narrator here. the problem begins with the talent on the ice. not nec a new problem but its exacerbated when they didnt replace kreider and others havnt stepped it up. the leadership stuff is all dandy but at the end of the day the nyr are a broken down camry trying to compete with farraris.

Guys, the problem stems from management dismantling the nucleus of a president's trophy team with talks of trades to the star players Truba, Goodreau, and Krieder were the heart of the team. This year trade hangs over the heads os Zibanejad, Panarin, and Trocheck. This kills team spirit and camaraderie. As we have seen all year, there is no desire to play hard for 60 minutes, no desire to win, and in my humble opinion management is to blame for creating this type of environment and atmosphere in the locker room and on the ice.
It honestly looked like Schneider intentionally checked Miller. That could have been maybe the worst play of the year minus the turnover against Buffalo by number 13

NO Sully is the coach , he has no control over the way the players play he can demand but what good is that we are talking about millionaire players that are not producing for the salary they make.

My fandom off ramp was when they lost to Akira Schmidt and Vitek Vanecek in a playoff series.
Old team needs trades to add youth. Mike is a good coach with old slow team.
I agree this is clearly not how we thought this season was going to go. I also believe this is a management problem, Drury last year wanted to go with youth but got rid of some key players over the last two seasons. It starts from the top down, I’ll say it again get rid of Drury he had his shot now give someone else a chance. Bring in someone with a fresh new perspective. Out of all the moves Drury made only a couple made sense otherwise it’s been horrible. How many coaching staffs and players can you go thru before you understand that maybe management is the problem. If you look at all the teams out there that stayed strong and won championships like the Blackhawks the penguins the lightning. They built a team and then they nurtured it. If when and only when a move was necessary the management pulled off a good one and it kept the team winning. The Ranger team doesn’t have that. We have some real talent and some good personnel and lots of real talented youth in the system but when you don’t know how to work it or what to do with it this is the result !!!.
