Hey Guys, My apologies for my comment yesterday. However being a fan since the last Cup I remember how those Leafs weren't given a chance to win the cup because they were old and slow. Montreal had a power team and the Leafs won anyway. in those almost 60 years I've watched them try dump and chase many times with 0 success.Blowing up the team while there are injury considerations and Leaf luck factoring in is what Destroyed many teams in the past and still no Cup.
Ya the Sens fans are beyond ridiculous-im Colorado fan,& I couldn't believe how they were acting-they have almost no shot either. Give them credit but that was AVS worst EFFORT of the season,& PPs were 3-0 Sens. But was still 3-2 til couple empty netters.

Wait until the olympic break before doing anything. Unless there is some miracle where the leafs close the gap to 4 points, think sell. Either get Matthews, Willy, and Reilly to waive their NTC and start from scratch, or…..keep Matthews, Nylander, Tavares, Laughton, Knies, Cowan, Lorentz, Woll, and Hildeby — EVERYONE else goes for picks and prospects.

Mitch Marner was the soul of the Leafs and without him they are a last place team . I was the only leaf fan to predict it. The good thing is that they can trade their fringe players for draft picks and start over next year with some young talent. Knies and Cowan have lots of potential. Time to rebuild. If Auston and Willy want to go then okay maybe some 1st draft picks for them.

Hey I agree . I can see them going on a run. Why? They always do. That said you have to know your team. And history says it. They haven't changed much. No way these guys can collectively win together on same team. They sell you the hope. Most ppl aren't listening. Sellers at deadline. Desperately need picks and move assets before value changes. Laughton won't sign here? Why. Guy gets no minutes and he's better then half the team.

Here's the problem with all our top payed players…none of them are leaders, not one of them, John Tavares was one of the sorriest excuse for a captain we ever and Matthews shouldn't even have an A…that's our biggest problem. Nylander like Marner now, would be more than happy to just blend in on a good team, same with Matthews…followers don't win Stanley cups.
