Great first period for the Sharks and then it went downhill from there. They're a good-looking team and hopefully they'll learn from a loss like this. Celebrini showed class by trying to have the high sticking penalty taken away by telling the refs that the stick didn't hit him in the face. They should have listened.
Apparently both Bouchard and Hyman are not good enough for the Canadian Olympic team.

I was neutral in this game but I HATE watching teams just completely give up and only play defense once they get a lead. Good job on the Oilers for making San Jose pay.

They may have come back and won, but the Oilers took a decade to build that team around Connor and Leon. The Sharks built a similar quality team around Celebrini and Smith in less than two years. SJ should be proud that they made 'em work so hard for it

Frustrating loss. Askarov was having a good game and im not sure I can blame those goals on him. Understand it's a young team and this is going to happen, especially against an offensive juggernaut like Edmonton. I can't wrap my head around the decision by Warsofsky to put Ferraro, Liljigren, and Wennberg out there in overtime against Edmonton. Hopefully they can bounce back in the next one

feel bad for ingram, all 3 of those goals weren't really his fault.
The Oilers have pylons in net, but they actually have elite offence to offset the porous goaltending. I don't think it'll do them any favours in the playoffs though. It's times like these when you wonder how much of the previous two finals runs Skinner had to do with.
