I was a Leafs fan for 37 years but quit watching hockey since the 2004 lockout and haven't been missing a damn thing because they still can't win bugger all since they did when I was 7 measly months old.
I do follow the standings just in case a miracle happens.
I also look at the statistics.
What I've noticed is that they seem to win more games when being outhot and lose more games when doing the outshooting.
That's back asswards.
Also, they win more games in which their own goalie has a lower save percentage and higher goals against average.
Hildeby has the team's lowest GGA at 2.90 and save percentage of 0.912 but has a losing record of 5 W, 6 L and 4 OT L.

The best the Shanaplan could muster was a regular season team that choked in the playoffs. The difference now is the Leafs are choking in the regular season (which shows how crucial Marner was to this team).
