    “That’s a tough one to swallow” Reinhart. I mean nothing else to say besides that honestly. That was back breaking (obviously the season is not over yet but like holy hell). 8 points out doesn’t seem like a lot but like no one in the east wants to lose. Nothing else to say for me at least….

    1st Panthers lost to Utah now St Louis n I don’t think Panthers will beat Boston n you don’t wanna face Lightning next Thursday bc we are hot streak. Dolphins hired Nathaniel Hackett as a QB coach n he got FIRED as a coach in Denver

    Baaaaaad loss. Tarasov caught whatever Bob has and the defense was trash. Make the defense play at center ice so they don't get beat so bad when one of them misses the puck. 😂. St Louis just out hustling them. How many times did balinskis get beat or was on they ice when the blues scored? Painful. If they don't win every game b4 the Olympics break, shut everyone down and play the checkers guys, season over. It's like they came out hung over expecting the blues to roll over and take it. Pathetic. Don't give that gassed stuff either, they are professionals and get paid exceedingly well to perform. Constantly bragging about how fit they are and their stellar recovery regiment. And I'm usually one of the most positive cats fans, but this is awful. Worse because it's the same thing over and over. Keep this up and marchy WILL go back to Boston.

    I think Paul Maurice is on a different planet. He said he "liked their game." What part of the game did he like? The ridiculous amount of penalty minutes, the numerous turnovers, scoring one goal on a 4 minute power play or the inability to clear our zone with a minute left? The same mistakes are happening game after game. It's becoming difficult to watch. They are a much better team than this.

    So far the return of Tkachuk did not have much of any impact. While I like him, I always felt his impact was overblown

    I really don't know how you explain the first period's effort, or lack thereof. Surely, they know how dire their situation is. Once again, it was our 4th line that got us going tonight. Greer scored a goal and won a fight. I know this won't be my most positive comment overall, so I'll get this out of the way. I really like this Vilmanis kid and think we have something there. He's on a two-game point streak. I know we've compared him to Luostarinen, but I believe he could have a bit more offensive upside then even he does. In my opinion, he's been better than Samoskevich. If we had to clear cap for Jones to come back and Boqvist hasn't been traded, I'd rather send Samoskevich down than Vilmanis. I do feel our depth guys have been stepping up (one of which is Vilmanis. I'd throw Bjornfot into that category too). There just isn't enough energy from the top guys, and who can blame them really?

    Yes, it is frustrating to watch but losing Lundell AND Marchand on top of everybody else, at some point you just have to realize it isn't going to happen. I've said this before, I really can't expect anything more than what we've already gotten. Many teams would kill for our level of sustained success the previous four years.

    The way I see it, It’s probably over. Unless they pull magic out of their proverbial backsides and manage to win four straight and end up four points out by the Olympic break. But I have a hard time believing this team can go 20-5-4 the rest of the year playing as poorly as they have been. Hey, if they want to prove us wrong, I'd love nothing more. But we wouldn't need to go on such an absurd pace had we managed to scrape out a few more points. This is just another game on a long list of many we would look back on if and when we miss the postseason.

    Jaws described it perfectly in his Mammoth recap. No you can't get up, No you can't get up… Forget getting up, we can't even sit up much less breathe for even a game.

    wouldnt it be so cool if theyd have just beat the sharks 2 times this season and maybe the ducks once or like any other team that shouldve been free points. you dont lose 2 games to the sharks and have it not come back to haunt you

    I couldn’t watch the game but I saw while they did score on a powerplay I think they had a 4 minute pp and nothing. The power play imo is the main reason right now as to why they aren’t in a wildcard spot. I still can’t believe the powerplay after the Bobby fight they had like 1 sog as usual it just pisses me off because I know Maurice doesn’t care about it since it’s to waste time.

    Ffs, the Canucks beat the ducks tonight and the Canucks gave up a month ago. And are still more consistent showing up than the cats. 🙄
