Despicable effort again-other than Nelson basically this entire roster is already on Olympic break- just disgusting. But at this rate Minny will be like 1 point back at the break. Them,& Dallas already would be if they hadn't struggled so much lately themselves.
What is wrong with the Avs. Have the Avs players left for the Olympics. Stop wearing the Nordiques jerseys. This have been a bad road trip. Don't blame the back to back games. Every team plays them.
Wedgwood was bad. That happens. The rest of the team, with maybe two exceptions–Colton and Kiviranta, were uninterested. Especially McKinnon, who just stood around when Montreal put the dagger in the heart (heart?) with their 5th goal.
The wear and tear on these Avs playing this run and gun style of system has to be tough on them. Put yourself in their skates and see if you would have juice left. Time for a different system.
What about sam girard? He needs to sit imo, but I never hear anyone talking about him. Last night he literally just dropped his stick, un contested at the blue line trying to keep the puck in the zone. This dude SUCKS. Consistently gets beat on the boards and don't get me started with his offensive ineptness. I fart harder than most of his wristers….
