  1. Told you this team sucked. Now we all can see. McKenna is sliding down the draft board because of casuals. So we could end up with a 5th overall pick and still end up getting him. Or trade up

  2. Flyers are such a difficult team to root for. They have literally disappeared on the ice. And the mistakes are so awful. Last night they get a late first period power play against a pretty mediocre Columbus team with the game tied at 1. So, they quickly squander the power play with a penalty for too-many-men-on-the-ice! Are you kidding me. And then they give up a goal before the end of the period. OMG…They truly stink and are handing games away. Zegras has not done anything for weeks, Couts probably is a 4th line center, the defense is giving up alot of high danger scoring chances. I turned the game on against Boston tonight and Deslaurier and Hathaway are both in the lineup. WHY? Turned it off with them losing 0-2 in the first. Can't stand watching this team anymore.

  3. Did Tocchet lose the lockeroom, or is this just how this team deals with adversity? To completely shut down? Seems like what happened during Tortorella's time here.

  4. Dave Hakstol has a better record as head coach than Rick Tocchet.
This franchise fills way too many positions with former Flyers who have no business sitting in the jobs they are given. Looking at you Danny Briere.
All the goalis stink. Michkov is overrated. Couts, at this point in his career, isn't good enough to center a line on a minor league team. TK would be a 2nd or 3rd liner on a good team.
Heck, most of the fanbase still hasn't gotten over the breakup with Claude Giroux, with the way they all fawn over him when they play the Sens. But even Giroux, who just missed out on Florida's Cup years, is rotting away in hopeless Ottawa at the end of his career with no hope of shedding his "Cupless" label. Sad and pathetic.

  5. this team is where its supposed to be. every team , the nhl standings work has shot to make playoffs. undertalented roster. never fully committed to a rebuild..

  6. In my eyes, the rebuild never got to the point it needed to. A "competitive rebuild" isn't the way to go. If you want an elite center and Dman, you'll be EXTREMELY lucky to find that as a playoff bubble team. They need to bottom out. But they wanted to hire torts. If they would have bottomed out, maybe they could've ended up with Cellebrini. Or Schaeffer. Or anyone other than freakin jett luchenko.

  7. I love the Flyers but let's be honest. They are a very average team with few skill players. That has been the story for many years. They lack size also both on offense and defense. I like Zegras even though he is struggling right now. Vladar is also a positive. Tippett has started to play better but Michkov has looked horrible all season. Coots, Hathaway, Cates, etc. provide little or no offense. Rinse and repeat.

  8. The problem is the flyers are in stagflation territory, they do this every year. They will get the 8th pick and nothing will change. You need a TOP 2 pick to turn your franchise around and simply isn't going to happen. They are good enough to not tank but not good enough to get to the playoffs, let alone win the cup!

  9. question: which coach tells them to leave the back door open for easy shots from like 10feet
which players play a whole game and never touch an opposing player who has the puck…when you see said player coming right down the middle like Boston did you might want to do more than wiggle your stick at them

  10. If you had told me 30 years ago that Ricky Bottalico would be asking a top hockey analyst about Flyers making turnovers in their D zone, I would not have believed you. But here it is.

  11. I don’t understand Flyers managements love affair with number 14. this guy can’t score goals to save his life and you give him the C. Torts scratched him for a reason. He’s deadweight, the flyers should realize it. We need a captain that can actually lead a team by his play. The power-play is a snooze fest. These guys really zip it around don’t they? I can’t see any team in the NHL afraid to take a penalty against this power-play.

  12. It was all you clowns saying “ I know 76ers get attention but what about the flyers” dumb hockey fans that don’t watch basketball or both (WATCH ALL SPORTS) hating cause 76ers are good and flyers are GARBAGE

  13. So it all comes down to the same thing. They don't have enough players and waiting for prospects to develop is ridiculous at this point. Go out and get someone. They need some pieces.

  14. Even when the Flyers were a playoff team earlier in the season, they had the least amount of regulation wins. They were winning alot of shootouts early in the season so their record was a mirage. That stuff eventually evens out and now they are getting exposed. It doesn’t matter as Briere screwed up the rebuild by not tearing down the roster 3 years ago and put them in position for top 5 draft picks. We are in Year 3 of the rebuild and we still don’t have a 1C or 1D. A rebuild doesn’t even start until you at least get 1 of those players.

  15. Where’s the GM hiding? Is this guy going to make statement. I wasn’t a fan of the Tocchet hiring but he’s getting hung out to dry with this talent

  16. There’s no defense. Nobody covers or checks anybody. The other team can basically skate where they want to.

  17. coach after coach… it's the same. The one constant… the holdovers from the giroux era. They're losers…
