Shesterkin….put him on the block too…….put Rempe in goal…wtf……….
I have been a die-hard Ranger fan since I was 12 years old. I am 66 years old now. In all those years, I think I missed watching maybe 5 or 6 games. I would like to know if anyone can answer this for me. How do you make a team better by trading your best players? Any answers, Drury has to go!!! Sucks being a Ranger fan!
panarin (50% retain) + vaak for reinhart (or verhaeghe) and boqvist. Florida has become the Vegas of the east…i'm sure they will find a way
A young player doesn’t work for the Rangers because they have the worst player development in the history of the sport. LaFreniere needs to escape this shithole of an organization so he can finally see his potential with an organization that knows what it’s doing
San Jose
Imagine Panarin and Tom Wilson on the same line?…awkward! LOL
That is reasonable 4 years @ 11m
Islanders are the most obvious choice they need scoring and he stays in NYC
I best player is turning 34 and on an expiring contract.. move him for assests. Oh and Panarin still wants 11.5 million.
Rangers don't know how to develop young talent
Trade him to a team out west so the Rangers only have to play them twice.
They need to package Panarin with some other piece to get a player back. Think Robinson in Dallas. Fox can go.
Word is Todd McLellan doesn't want to mess with the chemistry of the team.
Forget fire Drury, fire Bettman. This season for NYR is directly related to the horrible cap situation and need for parity the NHL has stressed since 2004. When you prioritize parity this is what you get, one of the leagues premiere stars is sitting home and the Rangers won't play the Islanders again after January. The worst part is the hard cap. Teams can't even afford to keep their home grown talent when the player has some success and needs a new contract. So here is what you get GMs forced to do their off season activity in January. Let's not forget that the small market teams that this system was meant to protect rely greatly on the big market teams coming through to drive gate attendance. Let's see how well those ticket sales go when the Rangers are coming through this year having already waved the white flag and their Super Star isn't playing. Drury has every right to tank this season, sit Panarin, and go for draft picks in what is shaping up to be the deepest draft in years.
When NYR walk into the 2026 draft with 5 first round picks in the deepest draft in years are you going to want to fire Drury then?
Its the extention and money he wants that is going to limit where he goes and who can afford him
Drury is an idiot the only options should be west coast teams end of damn story.
Btw, nothing you do everyday for 7 minutes is going to whip an aging 50+ year-old body into shape.
Make no mistake about it. ANY move that Drury makes will be the wrong move. You can bet your house on it.
Sanjose is best place to trade him
My father was a diehard Ranger fan. He always said, too many distractions in NYC for young players, and I tend to agree. Rangers need to play their youth, and stop picking up aged veterans at their career ends.
