I would rent Lee and Pager for a top, VERY ripe, prospect. Is there a rule against signing them as RFA's in the offseason? Those 2 could give Toronto the grit they desperately need.

Hold onto the two first round picks. Darche would be foolish, and taking a page out of lamoriello's book, by giving up first round picks. We should be adding more first round picks, as the 2026 NHL draft is stacked with talent. Move Pageau for another first round pick, and I would even trade Horvat or Barzal for another (fourth first round pick) first round pick. Build for the future. We just beat the Rangers in a home and home, but we didn't play well last night and were lucky to get the two points. Be realistic.
