Are we going to need to have a conversation about the goaltending again? I have a bad feeling…
Too bad i went to this game last minute lol, saw it was 2-2 then when it was 6-2 decided to leave and indulge in beer lol!
Why burn the tape? Sit the team in a room and have them watch each one of their blowout losses and have them dissect why the loss. Let them come up with a book report about what they learned and what they can do better. I never want to hear another “forget about this game and move on.” No! That’s the last thing I want to hear.

Oilers are literally THEE most inconsistent team EVER. As a fan of the ducks, at least we are mostly consistent (just pointing out facts), but we won like 8 in a row then had a massive loosing streak then came back and won another 7 or so. Out of all those games, like 1 was a blowout. Almost every time we lost (in that loosing streak) we were only behind by a point or two. To me oilers make no sense. They literally destroy the ducks and put up a hat trick, win in OT against the sharks then they get DESTROYED by the Wild AT HOME?!?! Definitely not the only time this has happened. Make it make sense lol. (No disrespect to the oilers btw, just pointing out my perspective and the facts to make discussion)
Finally got 3 wins in a row.
The top 3 in DAL, COL and MIN still own us though.
The Edmonton Oilers' goalies have consistently been mediocre at best, with Jarry (SV .75) 😂allowing five goals and Ingram (SV .77) allowing 2 goals. Sure, some will say not all the goals are their fault, but look at how McDavid was stopped on his breakaway and how "well"😜 the Oilers played in a similar situation. The Oilers were called for 3 offensive zone penalties, which led to 2 goals due to poor 4-on-5 play. Several times, poor changes in the Oilers line-up led to one-on-one situations and goals. McDavid is (-3) in this game. The Oilers' defense is pathetic!😜
When I saw the carnage, I was in a bar and I prayed desperately that it was not home ice because of the white jersey. I got hit by a train when I saw the oilers logo on the middle of the ice.
Pittsburgh is having no issues with goal tending right now😜

Tired getting bullied by the Wild. Tired of being jealous of the other team's goaltender. Yeye didn't play the best defence but still. When was the last time we had a good goaltender? Roloson? 20 years ago? 😅
I'm not even remotely an Oilers fan but there were a lot of posts and crossbars hit by the Oil if even one of them went in, it could very well have changed the game.

Sometimes I think to take a flight from Spain to Edmonton to see one or two games live at Rogers Place but… Can you imagine crossing the ocean in a very long & expensive trip, to witness a painful blowout like this one? At this moment this idea feels risky as hell! This kind of trips cost a fortune and are the kind of 'once in a lifetime' experiences… But I don't want to play russian roulette right now!

As a Wild fan, the Oilers’ team defense is absolutely abysmal. Bouchard was responsible for three goals by himself tonight, the forwards don’t support the defense at all, and the Wild have almost free access to the center of the ice. The Oilers should never have paid Bouchard more than Makar when he’s maybe 4/7 the player that Makar is.
Knoblauch sounds frustrated with Jarry. He doesn’t mention him by name once in the post-game interview, and that’s rarely accidental. Unfortunately, goals against always get pinned on the goalie, just like it was with Skinner, while Bouchard and Nurse, the defensemen, keep getting big minutes despite being wildly inconsistent defensively from game to game.
We were really unlucky, especially towards the end , two posts could have made it 6-4 or even 6-5. But then Minnesota scored on the next move, they better also not take stupid o-zone penalties anymore and gift the opponent momentum😢
Fortunately it wasnt against a division opponent and e.g. Vegas also lost

No mater goaltending ,Oilers have weak defense, this is where they need to pay attention, they seem to get sleepytime, seems Oilers only look to power up their forwards, like this is the problem , if you lose games 6-1, 7-3, 7-2 then Houston we have a problem in our end, is it our defense coach or is it the wrong defensive chemistry, it sure needs a good look at ,playoffs around the corner
Bowman “I don’t want to make a lateral move in the crease” then literally makes a lateral move in the crease. Not to mention paying almost double. Let’s not even start to talk about mangiapane. Out of his 5 moves, roslivic is the only decent signing. HES DESTROYING THE TEAM INFRONT OF OUR EYES.
You know your team is not a genuine cup contender, when you are are genuinely afraid of any other team in the league.
It'll be an entertaining, yet, short post-season for this squad this year.
Thankfully, I won't be bothered by it, as I have already accepted this fate.
This team wouldn't even have a wildcard spot in the east. No one in the pacific would.

Nothings changed since the start of the year. We swapped the goalies and its more the same. Porous defense, awful depth scoring (though the 3rd line has been generating and pushing play just not finishing often and freddy does seem to be driving play more) and now special teams is drying up. They got nothing
