Does anyone else think that Hart looked into Macs eyes on that shoot out and just gave him the goal for fear of death?
That was their first SO win. They were 0-4 going into that one. In fact, had only scored twice on the SO all season so far.

Okay Zach, I work the night of the Kings game and the Blues game. You might have to commute down to the Springs, but we can make it work 😂 Told my patient the Avs won the game and I’m pretty sure I just created a new Avs fan 😅 Watched the game when I got home, even knowing the outcome, still had me on the edge of my seat! The boys sure do know how to keep me just on the brink of psychosis 😂

I’d definitely say the strategy for Mack’s shootout move was to get the goalie deeper in the crease than he wants to be. He should be backing up according to how close the shooter is, so the speed changeup puts them in a spot they don’t want to be, and Mack had more room open to place a shot. And he just has a ripper of a shot of course.

How they reacted to being down a second time was incredible. They didn’t look upset, worried or panicked. The 6v5 was also amazing. Watching other teams in that situation always seems chaotic. The Avs were methodical and I never felt they were going to turn it over for an ENG. What a team.
That was a thrilling OT. Both teams going at it. Felt like a playoff game.
I was soooo tired from boarding two days in a row. Was watching the game down 2-0 I was like we should just go to bed. Then boom 2-2 and my heart was racing then 4-2 and I’m like aggghhhhhhhhhh then 4-4 and the 4-5 and I almost cried. Then we win in freaking SO insane game!!!!
The Avs are so freakin’ good, when we were up 4-2, I was not confident at all that we could hold that lead. The only positive that came for me in that game was the Lecky goal completed my 3 teamer anytime parlay with Barby and Howdy that paid 91-1! The game tho was the most exciting one I’ve watched all year as well. Congrats Chris!!! lol
