Whelp Bob is all over social media for tripping the Sabres player and almost breaking his neck. Right when the heat was dying down on us….
Theres no real takeaways from this season. Bring up all the Checkers and finish this campaign out. The guys look cooked and we get more injuries. I'm totally defeated. I love watching Bob play, but I can't take watching guys stand in front of the net alone.
Chucky not the elite level help we hoped for ,swiggy on witness a relocation protection list😂, Bob in no man's land giving up the 3rd goal was entirely his fault, bobs replacement is already on the team, tarasov. 6th line guys playing top 4 line minutes, making the same mistakes over and over. Its not over, but as injured as they are and taking bad penalties playing from behind isn't going to win much. Fat lady is beginning to warm up. They Need 40 ish points of the 54 remaining to even sniff a possible playoff spot. History won't be made if they miss the playoffs, because they may never win another cup, and possibly never make the playoffs again. Especially considering the once bottom dwellers are no longer bottom dwellers. I'd still rather be optimistic and hope for a run, than be a negative Nelly. So if and when they are officially eliminated they still have a shot. But chucky and swaggy better start dragging some mofos into the scoring game.
With Sam Bennett leaving the game against Buffalo tonight. It is possible that the Florida Panthers will play the Bruins on Wednesday without a single starting center from their cup winning lineup.
Ever since the Sabres fired their gm, they have been on fire. They're a big young aggresive, hungry team. Who can blame them after almost a 15 year playoffs drought

For all those who said it was easy to make the playoffs while missing one's best player for the whole season back in 2021, turns out it's not. With that said, i'm sure the Panthers will be back to being a terror again next year.
I'm just happy to see them play and see Balinskis and Vilmanis do well at this point. I know they will most likely lose the rest of their games, but when I see the special teams, it gets me so frustrated. This whole season has been a literal joke on the pp. Again, I realize they are missing a lot of people, but if you can't score on a 5 on 3 for over an entire minute, I don't care who is out there; something is wrong, and it starts with the coordinator. This whole season, it's been 5 power plays a game with 5 shots on goal in total, and each of those shots is directly at the goalie. They just mope around with the puck for 4 seconds each, scan the ice, and consequently telegraph exactly where it is going. The only "plan" they have is the Reinhart slot play, which has worked MAYBE twice this season. If they had scored on even a third of the power plays this season, they might actually be in the wild card race instead of gifting Chicago McKenna. Layered on top of that, Maurice hasn't peeped a word about the power play, and the league just gifting the Panthers power plays like it's candy, extremely frustrating. I know statistically they are not the worst in the league 5 on 4, but watching this indecisive mess play out in real time when they could be winning a majority of games because of this makes me lose all hope.

It’s my fault every panthers game I watched this year they lost except for the Boston bruins game early in the season. When I watch the panthers I feel like the record is 1-15 this year. Every game I watch of them they lose and if I don’t watch they win.
Was at the game tonight a couple rows behind the glass by Lyons. Honest assessment – the Sabres looked stronger on the checks and on the boards. Panthers looked somewhat gassed and play in spurts. The cats puck movement is slow, specially on the PP. Refs blew some calls in the 3rd period that also hurt them. Overall, the team looks tired and are grinding with little to show on the score board. #11 gets overwhelmed on the boards and cross checks. He needs some size. On the flip side Vilmanis is emerging nicely.
Just like to be healthy for more than a game for once. That’s all I can really say honestly, I mean at least Manis Mania and Schwindt look great together.
I don’t genuinely know how people can blame the goaltending especially if they watched the video from a while ago. Last thing I’ll say is that I just want to keep the band together as much as possible for next season because they deserve to have a season where it’s not this bad injury wise.

I am so sick of hearing the commentators say Samoskevich shoots… followed by wide, misses, high. I would say put him on the 4th line where he should be but that current line has been the best one for the last couple of games
Crazy question I never thought I would ask in this era of the Florida Panthers: does Zito sell? Not a fire sale obviously, but if this is a lost season and he can leverage a seller's market to go reload some assets for next season, does he do it? What would even be available?
I don't really know how the cap works with this but can you just shut down the main players and run a team of the AHL players? see whats coming up. Some of the 'lesser' players have been pretty good as they have got opportunities this year
I also don't especially want to see Barkov if it just to try and make a run for the playoffs. Just shut it down and come back fresh for next year

Kucherov has more points in the last month (14 games) than anyone on the Blues has all season. He has nearly a 10 pt lead on the 2nd place scorer for 2026 (Pasta). Quinn Hughes is #4 and Evan Bouchard is #6, as defensemen… Nobody on the Avs is even in the top 10 for 2026. Avs have 9 regulation losses and 6 are to Atlantic teams.
I usually don't put too much stock into the regular season, but it really looks like we are going to get a finals of The Lightning vs the Oilers or Wild. Just depends on if the west can punish Edmonton's goal tending enough. Would be crazy to get a Lightning vs Avs rematch after they both missed the finals 3 years straight. That's a long gap to hold your cup window after your run started in 2019 and dealing with players aging too. If the Lightning end up letting the Canes through to the finals, then I agree with you, they blew it big time.
The Panthers played hard tonight.. got a little puck luck at the beginning of the game. Just couldn't solve Lyon in the end. Well I really hope Samoskevich can start scoring he gets grade A chances every game..
Ps I know in the NHL video game Samoskevich has no problem scoring.. lol.
I feel sorry for the cats at this stage, they are fighting as best as possible with their limited resources right now and can’t catch a break.
They arnt asleep, they put up her 40 shots even after losing Bennet. The issue is the Balinskis, Bjornfoot and Petry are all terrible at defense and Bob has finally hit the age wall. The forwards are all playing their asses off.
It's alright. We can't stop getting injured and the three years of wear and tear is making everyone and everything break like toothpicks. For us fans, sure it would have been awesome to make a run for a threepeat, but for the sake of the mental and physical health of our guys, maybe it's fine to give em the green light to call it off this year, take a very well deserved 4-5 month off-season, and then we come back out swinging at anyone who moves in late '26. This is the first year out of six where we have every critical player locked up. This is gravy. We'll still show up to watch ya stream the playoff games!
Not in the cards this year. Gratitude for this three year run. Rest up, heal up, come back stronger with a fresh start next year with a chance at 3 out of 4.

Bobrovsky has been unplayable nearly all season. He sucks and it’s not all the defenseman fault. I think it’s time to move on in net, he over delivered and got us 2 cups. He’s a legend forever
