Looks like Celebrini is laughing his ass off in that photo, while Bedard appears to be hyper-focused.
Good photo!

>“We’re not talking about our feelings,” Bedard said wryly.
Silly, but that line really got a laugh out of me.

I mean celebrini is a superstar, but he got a top tier offensive partner drafted the year before.
I don’t think Bedard 100-120 every year will be unexpected once we get someone…anyone who is consistent in his line, when his linemates are on all his fancy moves don’t go to waste. He also had a couple of injuries derail him right at peak showing times.
I think they are both on an elite level. Any given night either one of them can be the better. It’s going to be a fun match up for years.

Don’t tell that to the geniuses over in r/hockey

Both were awesome last night.

I think Celebrini is clearly the better player, but that’s only because of how unbelievably good he is, it’s not at all a knock on Bedard who himself is incredible. Celebrini is simply on another level as an all-around talent. He’s the real “generational” talent of this era.
Basically I see Celebrini as being on that Crosby/McDavid level while Bedard is “only” like a Patrick Kane. Both will be 1st ballot HOFers one day. I think Celebrini has a chance to be a top 10 player in NHL history, while Bedard will more likely be top 40 or 50.

As someone who now lives in Sharks country, I would have loved to see both of them go to the Hawks. Man that would have been insane

[The funny thing is they’re best friends and they joked together about fighting at center ice in yesterday’s game (but sadly didn’t give us that show)](https://x.com/spittinchiclets/status/2018554873084592462)
