  1. I have never seen just a dumb fan base, ready to throw the team away, and then they beat 2 of the worst teams in the west, and now, parade is on.Only good thing, is now they will keep what they have ,and NOT make the playoffs

  2. congrats to the loosers … i mean the leafs. you actually won for once. nothing team that has nothing to offer. buyers? child, please.

  3. I can't believe ppl are that unintelligent about hockey. The Oilers can suck all they want on defense cuz their offense is always good enough to get them to the cup finals. The Pacific has sucked for years and that's why the Oilers don't need to be great. They can go 500 still be gifted with Kings or Kraken in the first round while the top 3 teams in the NHL: COL, DAL, MIN have to kill each other off which is dumb. Oilers get to CF AUTOMATIC. Stars always suck against the Oilers so Oilers will go the cup finals again. Nobody in the east except FLA is able to stop them in a 7 game series and even FLA had to take 7 and 6 games to beat them and that's FLA when they were all healthy and prime. So nobody in the east is good enough to hang with the Oilers. The dumb playoff format is why the Oilers get a free gift to the cup finals every year since Stars take out Avs and Avs are the only team that can beat Oilers.

  4. IF Treliving was smart, he’d deal quickly after 3 wins in a row, some players now look better than they really are so he could get a little more for them to any teams feeling playoff panic! The Oilers for instance could use Stolarz, McMann and maybe Carlo for their push – not sure what they’ve got for TO in picks/players but go for it.

  5. I have thought this for over 10 years; Maple Leafs should not trade 1st or 2nd round picks for a decade and evaluate after that, just to get the house in order and get needed push from within. They have very little in the organization. It has been like this because of diminishing trades for decades.

  6. Three straight wins they might win a fourth and then they’ll lose four straight and they’ll be right back to where they were cause that’s all the inconsistent they are. They’ve always have been and always will be.

  7. A third straight win for the Maple Leafs means that the Toronto sports media will lose their minds yet again.

  8. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Leafs need to rebuild not retool Leafs fans need to get this idea through their heads. It’s been the same result for years now and trying to sneak into the playoffs just to get kicked in the early rounds doesn’t do this team any good. Drastic changes with the core of the team needs to be made or else it will be the same story all over again next year.

  9. A third straight win for the leafs right now means.. if they win out and make the playoffs.. the team they are going to face is going to be worried.

  10. Trade Morgan Rielly! On the back end he's the problem! Leaf's just proved the last 3 games, they can win without him! They did it a few yrs ago also when he was injured.

  11. I would be trading McMann, Ekman Larson, Marcelli, Stolarz, and Laughton. I think they get the best return. I don’t think Domi would get much in return. Toss in Carlo as well.

  12. Leafs: 57 Games Played – 63 points (out of the playoffs – SELLERS)
Oilers: 57 Games Played – 64 points (tied for first in the division – CUP CONTENDERS)

    🤣🤣🤣

  13. Tocchet just isn't that good of a coach. He has had such little success in this league as a head coach that I don't know how he keeps getting hired. He was a solid Assitant in Pittsburgh but this guy clearly doesn't get the job done as an HC. Bewilders me how people are always lining up to hire him. Yes Michkov is fat, but constantly bringing that up to the media doesn't help anyone. Deal with that stuff internally.
