Alot of people are gonna not realize as a diehard kings fan. We have no future… Let me explain. This does nothing to our team because we have had the same defensive mindset which nowadays is harder to play as an offensive system than Florida to put that into perspective. With him, he has to be a 2-way specialist on our team or the coach/GM/AGM, which has to be the worst trio in the history, BTW, we’re just demote him to the 4th line. We have absolutely zero prospects, just like Toronto, but we have picks, but until this management and ownership realizes that we have to change how we play and allow our team to get more offensive chances. We have no shot here, fellas. We have to pray that our team will go on a 2012 Stanley Cup run and hope that the Cinderella gods bless us to the fullest degree. Look at our team and look at the people that we paid. Look at their point totals too. Look at our rebuild years and look at how many players are still currently on this team or had any future in the NHL on hockeyDB. and even as a kings fan, I love watching Anaheim and San Jose too more because they played their guys and they gave their guys a legit shot to play. We have to go on a fall on a rebuild after Doughty retires because I think that’s when this whole thing is gonna shift.

If this is the return, why not just wait it out until after the Olympics to see if Panarin or the Kings blink? Maybe Panarin reassesses and opens himself to other teams. Maybe the Kings see this and up their offer. Rangers created an arbitrary deadline and forced themselves into a bad deal. Some of the mocks out there were obviously nuts but this return is such a joke.
