It's sucks how much capital you guys have invested in how terrible the buds are. Cowan needs to head to the Marlies and beef up for next season – he’ll be just fine. Reilly is such a great guy – he’s been with this team through thick and thin, I just think he needs a change. Toronto fans are great and some just suck. The team needs to be bold and get things going towards changes!
I would have a sit down with Morgan , it would be best for him and Leafs to part ways . They have 3 salary retention slots available so maybe they retain 2-3 million Morgan would be good mentor to a younger group at 4-5 million . I'd try to sign Laughton you're not getting your first pick back , it would be a contending team that may want him ( so a second rd pick at what pick 50th , that maybe makes the team in 3 years ) and he has not been a problem he shows up with gumption when others don't .
