Great video thanks. One of my most liked jerseys. “Not favorite” and not cause I’m a stars fan. But the victory green just draws me in. Combined with there original beginnings as the North stars who I am a big fan off.
Dallas going back to the Star jersey would be a massive improvement though, entirely because their current jerseys are generic as hell and the logo is one of the worst in the League IMHO.
I was mildly concerned when I saw the thumbnail but I enjoy gold on Dallas jerseys. Personally I’d update the logo to implement more gold
I like both quite bit, albeit, they scream Texas Stars (AHL affiliate) to me
While I am sure that you have your own ideas – a few suggestions for the upcoming Ottawa jersey. 1) Sleeve stripes similar to the 1995 dark (red-white-red vs current red-black-red); 2) Add the Peace Tower shoulder patch (from 2000 alternate) to at least one side. If you wanted to do a "big change" and swapping the current black to red, it would be very close to the red alt they had a few years ago that's disappeared (NHL Uniform Database doesn't even reference it). Great series overall. My kids have enjoyed watching some of these concept videos and are disappointed when I tell them that "we can't buy that because it isn't real".
I'm far from a Stars fan, by i think these look mostly good except for one element bothering me. You incorporate the gold into the body of the jersey, which i think is good. The issue i have is that it's not incorporated into the logo in any way, so it feels a little disconnected to me.
So i like the direction, but think the logo needs the gold in it to bring it all together.

What I’d personally do for the home jersey is make the stripes solid black and have them go down the sleeves (à la Columbus/original Dallas) for the big change, and then change the right shoulder patch (or both) to the Texas logo for the smaller change.
But these do look great. Very much pre-1974 Minnesota North Stars.

Lots of stars fans like me actually like the green and gold, so these would be nice to see actually, cause it’s been the same jersey since 2013
