The story last year was Torts was too hard on the team, this year it’s Tocchett fault. This team seems to be mentally soft. Something is missing with way this team is constructed both in talent and drive. Winning teams are built from the middle out and this team have no top caliber center, defenseman or goaltender on the team of in the prospect pipeline. Who are the leaders of this team that make other players better? These issues are not coaching issues they are GM issues! This team is a direct reflection Briere and Jones. They already blamed 1 coach now it’s their turn to step up and make tough decisions on developing better players AND trading for the gaps in that development!
Another coach who doesn’t know what to say because we lack skill, we evaluate talent way wrong, we have shitty contracts and just gave another out to Dvorak. These poor Flyers coaches!
Fire Tocchet, Right into the sun. Can we quit hiring ex-flyers just because they are ex-flyers? Whats the appeal of him? Being mediocre and trashing his players? Get him out.
