Didn't expect anything other than a fit show and that is what happened. Tarasov looked lost out there and so did his defense at times, then hurts himself, ugh. It's like they expected to get sucker punched and weren't playing hockey or the puck. So cooper got his wish. I don't understand why any team Canada guys on Florida would want to play for him considering what's been going on this year. Chucky needs to stop with the dumb stuff and score, he looks bad doing the rat stuff and it comes off as sore loser, not getting under anyone's skin. Made worse by getting blown out. Can't really critique the game much in a valuable way, just meh and missing guys. Mackie scored, so thats cool. After the break play will tell if they are done or can get on a roll.

I hope Tarasov is okay…. I know tonight wasn’t his best game ever but like he’s important, hopefully the Cats can go more than one game without someone getting hurt post Olympics.
Besides that honestly I hate what the Battle of Florida has become now. It has become both teams trying to one up each other with the stupid shit.

This team won't go to the playoffs. And I say that because we're abdolutely depleted. I dunno if we should even buy during the trade deadline. Things just seem very bleak rn.
You read my post in the comments that section 2 days ago. I called exactly what would happen. Tampa has been on purpose feeding the teams we've been trying to catch. Then when they face us they're gonna obliterate us. You read it and I called it. I'm probably gonna avoid the rest of the season I'm disappointed beyond belief.

I just hope that if ANYTHING changes next season, it's the special teams. The coordinator needs to change positions; they are not cut out for this. Nearly got scored on A FIVE ON THREE, and same as the rest of the year, managed to get 1 shot on goal after passing it around for over a minute. The missing players card can only be played so many times. I am shocked that they somehow arent 30th in the league on the pp, but half the teams below them win games. They seriously tried the Reinhart slot play FIVE TIMES IN A ROW. No creativity or skill. Adding Barkov and Jones wont fix this. And then they got mad at the ref for the puck drop with a whopping three seconds left when they just had over a minute of 5 on 3 to work with and more pp time. I dont understand them. The ref was probably doing something stupid but what would you have done in those 3 seconds you couldnt have done in over a minute 2 men up Tkachuk and Lundell? Just the same thing everytime on the pp which Boston and Tampa took advantage of with the overly aggressive plays up to Balinskis since they know its going right to him.

The Panthers problem is not being able to score. has been for a while but without the excellent defence of the last few years, it makes it hard to win.
I'm glad we are breaking for the Olympics. We really need it. I understand this was a b2b game, but this was awful. It was night and day compared to last night's game. I think the coaching is not up to par either, especially the special teams. There is too much talent on that team to play so poorly.

Glad we got to see some rough stuff as it's just tradition now, and glad nobody (other than Tarasov; sucks about him getting hurt making that stretch save) got hurt, and don't throw things, but glad we got the win.
I thought the Panthers had more than enough chances in the first period and the first few bits of the second that it should have been a closer game. At one point, the shot attempts were 48-16 in FL's favor and the 2-0, and eventual 3-0 scores felt like a bit of a mirage. The 4th was the killshot, and you could see the energy go out of them.
Good luck the rest of the way, but honestly, I could really do without seeing you guys in the 1st round again.

The officials TJ Luxmore a.k.a TJ Sucksmore and Garrett Rank are the 2 worst Referees for the Panthers games, they are always a problem. I'm sure Maurice is sick of them I know I am as a fan it's been years of this crap with these two loser officials TJ Luxmore a.k.a. TJ Sucksmore is the worst referee in the damn league. It looks like he's 12 years old. He probably got his ass kicked in school, and that's why he is the way he is refereeing games.
The roster freeze ends on the 23rd of february an the first game we play is on the 26th.
