I don't blame Lafreniere for his lack of success in NY. It's the organizations fault for failing his development and not putting him in the right situation's to be successful. He's a natural left winger and had his best season, while on the left wing. He struggles as a right winger, that much is clear….. However, they continue to use him in a position he isn't suited for which is killing his production. Laffy's lack of growth as a player. Is a reflection of how bad the Rangers are at developing any type of young talent. This isn't new, it's been an ongoing issue ever since I was a Rangers fan.. So over 30 years lol.

What good does "calling out" one player do in the context of an entire "fragile" team's collapse?
There's been no real accountability under either of the coaches for failure/slacking/mistakes.
Accountability is not continually being given big minutes while younger guys sit.
Instead of quacking – sit nonperformers. Send people down. Do trades instead of quacking about them.
Dunno why JT Miller isn't put on LTIR until he can fully recover. Dunno why Rempe isn't playing in the AHL until his thumb heals. Dunno why a soft and "fragile" team doesn't call up the one thing it has in abundance – fighters.
If you're going to lose and going to tank – go down fighting. Literally.
At least the games would be watchable again.
If we are going to keep laf, he NEEDS to be in lw, not the off side rw, its clear. Watch, they trade him, he moves to the rw, and he breaks out, that shows signs of bad organizational development. Happens with every draft pick. Rangers have a habit of playing people on off wings.

I bailed when it was 3-0. Remember last year when the team was "not ready" in the 1st period? Same now, but isn't it the coaches job to make sure the team is ready? Sullivan says the same thing every game, but all he does is try blender lines which makes it worse. I can't help wonder how the Sheary situation effected the "culture" of the locker room. Don't know. But Othmann described yesterday the effect on he & his family of being shuttled up & down. I still say he didn't get a fair look in training camp. It struck me how Perreault reacted to scoring twice last night. He wasn't smiling & there was a muted reaction on his face. Why? Why did they send Othmann & Berard down & keep Sheary & Raddysh up to start the season. Drury & Sullivan talking & making the wrong decision. Berard worked so hard last summer & then his confidence has been eroded. I expected a lot from Sullivan. He hasn't delivered. His team looks confused & disorganized. There is no forecheck & guys are evidently in the wrong place. Why is that happening? Are they stupid? Are they losers who won't cooperate? The Gorton regime started the fall of the franchise in so many ways & Drury has made it worse. The man has no people skills. He is President & GM of the team. That makes him only accountable to Dolan. Neither one of them has any people skills & neither one of them qualifies for leadership!

Laf needs a change of scenery. It isn't going to happen. His contract is actually not a bad asset to move. IT has term and the AAV isn't going to be as big an issue now that the cap is going to increase each year. TBH I am unimpressed by Sullivan. Every game the Rangers are not ready to play. That is something I see as a failure on the coaching staff. I don't see any real adjustments to figure out the scoring derth. And JT Miller is every bit the paper tiger I was afraid he would be. Drury assembled his Avengers and instead we got the Eternals.
They continue to play him out of position and then wonder why he’s not performing. Drury and Sullivan are FUCKING MORONS.
They sure need a goalie. How about Panarin for Levi in Rochester ? Gamble but good bet Levi could come up big in NYC
