Them playing at Mullett was cool because it was like seeing a big band at a hole in the wall – the atmosphere was great. But it makes me sad seeing this too. This is what they had to resort to in their final years because of our shitbag cheap-ass owner who didn’t pay the rent for a proper NHL venue. Meruelo deservedly ranks near the top of the list of worst owners in any professional sport.
