  1. Too many injuries and many key injuries, especially Barkov. Missing the playoffs this season will open the doors for 2027 and 2028. Same thing happened with the Edmonton Oilers, even with Gretzky in the 1980s. They never won 3 in a row. I think the last team ever that will win at least 3 in a row was the Islanders 1980 – 1983.

  2. Every single one of the pearl clutching crybabies in the comments would take back to back cups if it mean their team playing the Panthers style. You hate us cuz you ain't us.

  3. As a Cats fan myself, I'm fine with this being the likely end of the season this year. All season long, the wear and tear on the team has been showing with each new and even more crippling injury. We don't have the gas or the mental grit to push through it this year, and frankly, they deserve a long off-season and recovery anyways. Let em have it, I don't mind watching some stress free playoff hockey.

  4. They miss the playoffs and win the lottery get the best player and then go on winning more cups would be hilarious

  5. Yea it’s time for the Florida’s best team now go back to Tampa bay lightning. There’s no team I truly despise. There’s players i despise but not a whole team. Im in Florida and im a lightning fan but I also root for Florida. I think Florida’s chance are done, the Tampa game probably did it for them. Losing Barkov was the deal breaker for their season. It’s like the New York Jets losing Rodgers in 2023, I knew their chances of getting into playoffs was a long shot. It’s done now.

  6. Video idea: we keep hearing “the panthers being good is growing Hockey in Florida”. Now that Tampa’s brightest days are a few years behind them, maybe you can look at how many more rinks and junior players there are in the Tampa Bay Area than before their success?

  7. Definitely correct that FLA is most hated, at least right now. I try not to let hate come in to my view in sports but they for sure get under my skin.

  8. They may miss the playoffs this season but next season they might be back. Also, the Lightning possibly making it is not the best tradeoff LOL

  9. lol they are only 8 points behind and they are playing 4th string players

This 2 weeks will be the key to the chances

2 weeks of rest for a team who has played the most games more then anyone over the last 3 years

They will recover they will make trade deadline moves and they wil get in the wild card get healthy and win their third title

    Hashem has spoke

  10. Because you have players who land cheap shots and blind side people away from the play. They deserve this fall off. Enjoy the only two cups they'll get! They'll be distant memories like a Cowboy Super Bowl. #GOBOLTS

  11. It’s not just injuries, they just look complacent. Really hope this is the start of their downturn as they just signed a ton of old guys to super long deals.

  12. Their throwback style actually goes back to the mid-70s Philadelphia Flyers.

Devil Ned Flanders: "…and the starting lineup of the 1976 Philadelphia Flyers!"

  13. Nobody hated the Panthers for 25 years when they could fly in, play golf, go to the beach, beat the Panthers, hit the bar scene & fly out.
Funny how BACK-TO-BACK STANLEY CUPS changes people's opinion of your hockey team

  14. Absolutely love the Pabthers. They play old-time, physical hocket, like it's meant to be played. Unfortunately, the league has gone really soft and most teams play the same, boring cy😢cle 8:19 the puck endlessly. The Panthers play a more open style, get the puck in and crush the forecheck. Much more fun.

Shann9n, you are right. Goaltending has been a liability this year, a big liability.
