troch for malkin (resigned for 1 year) + a 1st round pick. Rangers ain't moving the needle next season anyway, how about get a player sully knows. mika, miller, malkin down the middle? build young talent around them? PP – miller, mika, malkin, laf, fox ain't bad
I always like to know my return before I can say if a trade is worth making or not . It’s in our best interest to trade Trocheck if the return is really really good. If we’re not getting a great return keep him, it’s not like he’s blocking anyone. Could always move him in the offseason. We desperately need to get a high value young center, hopefully that’s in our future!

The only knock I had on Trocheck here is he’s not the best finisher and whiffed on some grade A chances but that said he’s been a monster player here from his prowess on the dots to his tenacity and ability to drive play. Whoever gets him is going to be a better team for the playoffs for it!
Trade Sullivan for knoblauch. Edmonton is a win now team and need a Sullivan type. We are a team that needs a coach that will play the kids and not worry about his legacy.

No faith that Drury will get anything good in return for Trocheck. miller is the center that needs to be traded.
I believe if a player that gets payed millions as a pro and is not 100% his team should interfere and advise they are not responsible for any added injury to his current one.

I know player development is important but if the players dont go the extra mile to improve themselves in the process it cant put it all on the organization
Troch would be a great guy to keep, I think he's probably one of the better ones in the locker room and on the ice. I do think its a good time to trade him, the team is in the basement, he's getting older but has a lot of value for teams that could use him Right Now! I would get everythimg I could for him and get this team on the path to a better future with good assets.
So in the next few years, we’ll see an AHL team playing in the NHL
