That kinda says it all about these brothers. Luke holds out for the big pay day, then has a rough season.
Jack’s the star and the face of the team but he hasn’t accomplished anything other than that. He’s got his commercials and the media is hyper focused on him.
But he can’t be bothered to give “safe” answers to reporters so he creates more drama for himself.
My point is there is a whole lot of discourse around the family name but it doesn’t seem to be helping this hockey team win games.
I hope he learns some stuff at the olympics and can bring some real leadership to the team that has been awful this year.
Nico regularly puts the team on his back. Even Nemec has too.
Whether jack is hurt or focused on the olympics. Nothing is working.
Also I don’t care about collecting Hughes’ like infinity stones. I do think they will both get stronger with age since they’re both friggin kids still. So trading them sooner than later seems pretty short sighted.
Get rid of jack and Luke. Luke sucks, jack is streaky, injury prone, and a locker room cancer. Get rid of bratt too

Jack has played 20 less games then the point leader Nico and is only 6 points away from leading the team in points. Came back early with a brace on his hand and still helped the team before his lower body injury. How about we discuss the non injured players that haven’t done shit since Hughes brother’s absence. Devils fans are such fucking idiots. Yes let’s trade two players that are the most skilled in their positions for more durable players like Dawson Mercer who hasn’t done Jack shit. Brilliant stuff.

Sorry but if you are minny, why would you trade boldy or faber for an undersized, often-injured center when you can just wait? And yes I know minny needs centers but come on.
