Stramel + Jiricek + 2027 1st for Trocheck + 2026 2nd
Kaprisov, Boldi, Quinn Hughes, Gustofson, Faber….. What team is has more elite players than this? Who can't they beat in the playoffs? Tampa? Colorado?
Stramel is the center they've been looking to get for years. He's 6'3'', 215 lbs. This year at MSU he won 52% of faceoffs and is playing above a point-per-game pace. As you mentioned, they have limited trade pieces. Trocheck would immediately be their best center, but if this is the last trade they make, why waste it on an aging vet? If they can only make one more big trade, then find a bigger fish in the sea.
Stramel is also Guerin's guy. Guerin chose him over Perrault and got a lot of criticism for it. Especially after seeing how much Stramel has developed at MSU I don't see Guerin giving up on him so easily unless if someone gave him an offer he couldn't turn down.
If Trochek goes for a 2027 1st and Stramel. Why can't the Wild get another top 6 player for Wallstedt, Ritchie, Jiricek and a 2028 1st and 2028 2nd? Something like this.
Hope the Wild don’t give up Stramel, you can't coach 6'3" and 215 lbs. He should be untouchable. Maybe package Yurov in a deal.
Id target a Dylan Strome 5 mill a year consistant and has some size , im not sure Washington can hold off Florida, Ottawa , Toronto and pass Boston ,Buffallo,

Is there a way Jack Hughes comes to Minni asap? Buy out? Idk. If there is a way, my money is on him coming over everyone. I don't know anything about their contracts or the caps.
