Kyper could not be more right, sammy knows it and his to stupid to agree. great show though
i had them out of the play offs just check my comments
fire berube csreaming doesnt work with AM AM has got to go for picks
agree with Bourne, if Matthews is traded, you need to get a haul when it comes to picks and prospects. You are starting a complete rebuild. That is why losing Marner for nothing hurt so much. Those elite guys are hard to come by. The rest are dime a dozen. 5 3rd liners don't make up for 1 top player in the top 6.
I hope they lose every game left.
The aversion to change is so puzzling
Toronto is the most impatient franchise in all of sports and it cost you over and over again ! Toronto never thinks of the future , its always now and they trade picks and young assets .Thinking a retool will deliver a cup in the next 5 years is completely delusional !
Leafs are cursed. Time for the rebuild:(
I agree with Kyper when he says Matthews is not a true #1 centerman on a Cup-winning team. He doesn't drive a line. He's not good at passing. He's not a $13.25M player. He never gets angry. He's not going to bring the Leafs a Cup.
That Mitch Marner trade is a major blow to them and Florida stole their soul and they're overpriced far as Matthews Nylander are concerned
As long as the corps are buying suites and the seats are full MLSE is laughing. Kinda reminds me of the Ballard years. Anyway go Habs go!
Marner with his 100 pts was the problem and now Marners -100 PTS is the problem. Let's try that again and get rid of next best point leader on the team and bring in 3 more 3rd liners. That should get us that game 7 win we now need so much. 😆🙄
Yes it is possible to retool on the fly. The rangers were in the conference finals shortly after writing the first letter, so Sammy aint wrong. It's just really hard to see it with these leafs.
tank it
Bi-polar, delusional Leafs fans are the gift that keeps on giving! They could be lovable losers like my Cubbies before their title (108 year title drought), but instead many of their fans are woe is me league is against us, bi-polar, & delusional.
Tank nation
If Rielly played wing with mathews tha would change everything and the defense would be better off.
I adore Cal Clutterbuck. Met him several times at UBS Arena suites. Good on camera, nice guy and you're right, really smart guy. Proudly from Welland, Ontario 🙂
HEY LEAFS FANS ESPECIALLY SAMMY. DID YOU SEE THAT MITCH MARNER TYING GOAL FROM THE BLUE LINE AGAIST DALLAS..
😂😂👍💪💪
Will someone PLEASE take Sammy's mic away!
Yes. Next video.
1st Mistake wsa thinking Matthews had the character to be the Captain…Marner has boatloads more Character and he was hometown boy who plays a solid 200' game…Matthews is phlegmatic and sorely lacking in Character…he is not a leader. When you look at the Habs of the 70's and the Islanders of the late 70's into their dynasty years…there was not a single player on that team from Bossy to Nystrom that did not exude character. Bossy was really the only truly elite scorer on that team…then there were 18 other players with hearts as big as house. same with the Habs of their dynasty years…not a single player on that team that didn't show up game in and game out. You just can't say that about the Leafs. Even the mid to late 70's leafs had more collective character than this current iteration. They are a deeply flawed organisation…they don't know how to scout…they don't seem to be able to find those diamonds in the rough that other teams seem to do. They are in a terrible position in terms of assets, prospects, draft picks…they have nothing to work with to improve…other than trade Matthews, Nylander, Riley maybe a couple others. Ownership haven't a clue about the game of hockey…or what a winning culture entails. It would be painful to "take it down to the studs" as Prongs has suggested, but I don't see any other way forward in order to build a culture of character and winning…but who is going to be in charge of the build? I personally think Leafs fans would rather see 19 guys with character playing their hearts out, night in and night out..than this characterless, soft…core of players. They have had 10 years to show what they are made of…it hasn't worked out…time to cut bait.
It's the refs fault
