Des années après l’échec du repêchage de 1991, les Rangers ont finalement acquis Eric Lindros des Flyers de Philadelphie, en échange de Pavel Brendl, Jan Hlavac et Kim Johnsson. Lindros produirait une tonne lors de sa première saison en tant que Ranger, dont deux tours du chapeau, mais diminuerait considérablement au cours des deux dernières saisons, la dernière se terminant prématurément à cause d’une commotion cérébrale. Brendl s’enflammerait dans une action limitée dans la LNH, n’étant pas à la hauteur de son battage médiatique. Hlavac flotterait dans la LNH, tandis que Johnsson jouerait onze saisons dans la série. I'm a long time Ranger fan, Eric Lindros was a mere shell of the player that he was when he was with the Flyers due to concussions. I often wonder to this day how many Stanley Cups would Lindros have won if he had teamed up with Joe Sackett when the Quebec Nordiques moved to Colorado. 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒 We'll Never Know.

I remember when we got him … That team was crazy make up … LOVE New York Rangers however Pat LaFontaine I loved him however we all knew he has concussion problems .. same with Eric Lindross .. great player but Concussion problems as well
