Malkin could have taken his talents to almost any team and been the #1 but stayed in Pittsburgh knowing he would always be #2. Love him for that. He wanted to win more than anything.
I’ve always thought Malkin’s experience would’ve made him a great fit in Toronto and it’s about the only place where a Stanley Cup win would’ve put him in the same category as Sidney Crosby for legend status.
