It was a great game by Montreal. It was just so frustrating. And the power play is… any way we will comeback! Let’s go Avs!
Ever since Landeskog got injured in that FLA game the Avs haven't been the same. Went from being the dominate team in the league to a 500 team.

The person that brought a "decline the penalty" sign earlier this season knew exactly what was coming. The Avs power play is genuinely a detriment to the team

What is it about Landskog's presence? Leadership! Something they do not have when he is out. Simple.
It's too bad they can't pick themselves up and play the way they should. They shouldn't have to depend on waiting for landy and toews coming back. If I remember right when Tampa won their second cup without Steven Stamkos and some other key players. The AVS can't do that. They are too tied to the hip to landy. They are too dependant on him. If they can't get off that mindset of not having landy in the lineup they are loosing in the first round again. That and needing their power play improving
sucks were slumping now because we were on pace to have a playoff spot clinched by start of Olympic break or like 3 games after now like like march 11th at the latest "mid march " ,cause its looking like the wild card numbers from last year will be good enough to clinch a spot 96 points,just need to pull it it together for these last 3 games , b2b vs wings coming up and they are playing good we need to win those both those are free points after the break we only play east teams 3 times . so yea getting these 6 points puts us at 85 points at the break .

Bench the “top” power play unit. They’re actively making the Avs worse.
Fire Hakstol. He was brought in to improve a power play that was the biggest contributor to the Avs’ loss to Dallas last April. It’s WORSE now. There’s no reason to keep him.

The lack of Leadership, Landeskog being out, is blatantly evident! Anyone who wants to argue this is a moron at this point. The Avs are a sub .500 Team without Landeskog and Hakstol has got to go. Minnesota is putting Wallsted on the market………….why not??!!
